ABOUT US
I have been captivated by animals since early childhood when I owned and cared for a cuddly Flemish Giant rabbit whilst pursuing my dreams to own a horse. All of my spare time was spent looking for horses visiting various yards, taking some riding lessons along the way at the local horse riding school . I eventually owned and bred a number of horses along with my husband Jeffrey "see HORSES "
About 1980 I got really interested in showing Toy Dogs when I started with Yorkshire Terriers as I just love coated Toy Dogs. During the following eight years my husband owned several gundogs which we trained to field trial standard, Labradors,English Springer Spaniels,Cocker Spaniels , Irish Setters and a German Short Haired Pointer but my true love of Toy Dogs prevailed. Being an adventurer and a perfectionist I wanted to learn more about dogs and studied under the much revered David Cavill. F.Inst.D.M.I. Mgt. at the Animal Care College in 1987 where I graduated with a General Certificate of Canine Studies after six hard months, later to become an Associate Member of The Animal Care College.
I fell in love with Maltese and began a wonderful life long adventure "see MALTESE" . Following on from growing show coats on Yorkshire Terriers, I eased my way into nurturing and caring for the wonderful little white fur balls. "see GROOMING" Through sheer hard work and dedication I achieved my life goal to win Best of Breed at Crufts, the biggest dog show in the world "see CRUFTS"
All along the way I have been drawing, painting, and sculpting animals and was honored to be asked to supply some artwork for the 2004 A.M. A. Specialty "see ART"
